APT provides engineering, permitting, and construction administration services to public and private telecommunication clients

The APT team provides a full range of AE and environmental services to wireless service providers and facility developers/managers throughout the northeast, backed by over one hundred years of cumulative experience supporting the telecommunication industry. Telecommunication services include:

  • Designing wireless telecommunication facilities in buildings and on rooftops, water tanks, silos, billboards, utility poles, steeples, concealments, chimneys and on all tower types
  • Designing new and modified macro-, micro-, pico-, and small cell-sites, iDAS (neutral host) and oDAS systems
  • Designing utility connections (power, telco, and gas), modifications, consolidations and cell site hardening (back-up power)
  • Designing mechanical systems for back-up power as well as interior conditioned and/or ventilated spaces
  • Designing and coordinating with multi-tenant relocation projects where an existing facility location is abandoned and relocated to a new facility nearby
  • Providing due diligence services including Environmental Site Assessments, wetland inspections, NEPA compliance, and visibility analyses
  • Environmental permitting through local, state and federal agencies
  • Presenting and testifying before local municipalities and the CT State Siting Council
  • Permitting through NY City DOB, FDNY and the NYC Landmarks Preservation Commission
  • Providing 3rd party peer review services to water companies, emergency responders and local EMS communication providers
  • Permitting projects on Suffolk County, NY Department of Public Works properties
  • Providing construction administration services including bidding, shop drawing review, inspections, RFI responses, as-builts and project close outs and sign offs.
